Blue Spacer 814  The Director of Development raises financial support for, and awareness of, the Metropolitan Opera Guild's education and community programs, OPERA NEWS magazine, and other initiatives from foundations, government agencies and individuals, and through special events. This full-time position is part of the Guild's senior staff, and reports directly to the Managing Director. S/he also works closely with the Guild's Board of Directors, liaises with the Metropolitan Opera Association's fundraising department, and participates in the strategic leadership of the organization.
